Kyoko and I really like Germany. We both think it is a country in which we could happily live. It is very clean, the scenery is diverse, the cities (especially Berlin) are lively, and many people enjoy sports and camping.
On this trip, we went to many cities, villages, and World Heritage Sites. It was most fun for us to travel along the Romantic Road, a 385 km tourist route that goes from Wurzburg in northern Bavaria to Fussen in the south. It has all the charm and beauty that one could hope to see in Germany. It is very popular with Japanese tourists, some of whom choose to bicycle or hike through the area. We drove our van down the length of the road, which took almost three days, stopping in the villages toexplore and meet nice people.
